On the back of its recent grand renovation, the iconic Le Méridien Amman continues to strengthen its position as the leading five star destination in the capital by winning at the prestigous MENA Travel Awards held in Dubai. Le Méridien Amman was awarded the ‘Best Conference/Convention Centre 2012’ Gold Award at the event, marking another key milestone for the hotel this year.

Le Méridien Amman’s Royal Convention Center, the largest facility in Amman, can host 800 delegates and includes remote controlled projection screens, teleconference features and a multimedia projection system. The world-class conference facilities are engineered with advanced audio-visual equipment to support local, regional and global meetings and seminars.

Le Méridien Amman recently compelted its grand renovation, which included refurbishment of the façade along with other locations in the property. The hotel recently unveiled its 400 square-meter Victorian-style Grand Ballroom which is decorated with mahogany wooden walls, gold-plated wall-mounted lighting, crystal chandeliers and hand-tufted royal blue carpets. The ballroom is also connected to a 40 square-meter VIP lounge. Furthermore, Le Méridien Amman’s new main entrance has added space to the lobby, offering guests the perfect balance of public and private space to enhance their arrival experience.
